Information Sent Directly
Text entered into a name, phone, or address search is sent to the third-party provider that powers the result. Our own servers do not keep a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only the details included by the sender and is used to answer that message.
Information Collected Automatically
Hosting providers normally record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Those logs may be reviewed in aggregate for performance and traffic patterns. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or, where used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited data supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvement. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual profiles are not built.
External Links
County and state portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools have their own privacy rules. Those policies govern information submitted on their services. The same applies to sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Who May Receive It
Hosting and support providers may process ordinary server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Disclosure otherwise occurs only when valid legal process requires it.
Data Security
The connection uses encryption, and logs are retained only for the purposes described above. There are no user accounts, passwords, or personal profiles stored here.
People Under 18
The reference is intended for adults rather than children. Personal information from anyone under 18 is not knowingly collected. Contact us if a minor has sent information so it can be removed.
Your Utah Privacy Rights
Utah’s Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 61, may provide covered consumers rights to access or copy personal data, request deletion of provided data, and opt out of covered sale or targeted advertising. The law is not a public-records deletion rule. Because very little visitor data is kept here, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Utah, Iron County, or Cedar City offices remain under the control of their custodians.
Policy Changes
Any revision will be posted here. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
